Create an Excel document with the following pivot tables, one pivot table per tab.

1. Total Sessions and Bounce Rate by Month (sort by month in calendar order)

2. Default Channel Group, Sessions, Users (sort by sessions, largest to smallest)

3. Device Category, Bounce Rate, Pageviews per Visit (PPV*) (sort by bounce rate, smallest to largest)

4. Default Channel Group, Device Category, Sessions, Bounce Rate, PPV (sort by sessions, largest to smallest)

* Pageviews per Visit: this is a custom metric that you must create.

The formula is: Pageviews/Sessions

NOTE: Pivot Tables must have their own formulas – if you export data that is already formulated – for example, AVERAGE, RATE, PERCENTAGE, etc…the pivot table will perform a function of a function. (
Hint: Bounce Rate is the number of bounces per session).

### Finalize Your Excel Pivot Table Assignment

Â· Once you have all pivot tables created, paste a copy of each one onto a single Excel tab (your tab will have 4 tables pasted on it).

Â· Name this tab “Summary”.

Â· Format your tables in the way shown in the video (proper Metric titles, bold for headings, etc.)

Â· Use the proper number formats for each metric.

Â· Provide a footnote that says where your data came from.
